On July 26th, we welcome a sacred new cycle.
This is the start of the Mayan New Year. It follows the “Day Out of Time” on July 25th, a symbolic pause for reflection and renewal.
More than a date, this moment is an invitation.
It asks us to breathe, slow down, and realign with what truly matters.
We are being called to release the old and make space for what our soul longs for.
What Keeps Us Stuck?
Often, it’s not the outside world that holds us back.
It’s the emotional patterns we carry within—quiet, repetitive, and unconscious.
This cycle revealed something personal to me.
After many years of study—relationships, psychoanalysis, theology, and holistic healing—I found an emotional attachment to my mother that ran deep.
It was silent, but powerful.
It shaped how I set boundaries, how I gave, and even how my body responded.
Emotional Release Is Not Easy
Letting go of this bond was not graceful or quick.
It was sacred work.
I moved through years of learning, therapy, and hard conversations.
And when I finally decided to release it, my body and life reacted.
I got sick. Old emotions resurfaced. Familiar patterns returned.
This is common.
Emotional ties resist release because they feel like safety.
However, awareness is stronger.
You Can’t Start Fresh Without Seeing the Past
We don’t move forward by pretending the past didn’t exist.
We grow when we see it clearly, name it, and understand it.
Only then can we truly break free from emotional loops.
This is why the Mayan New Year is so meaningful.
It reminds us that time is sacred, and change must be conscious.
Rebirth is a Choice
This cycle brings the opportunity for a new beginning.
But it does not happen to us. It happens through us.
With awareness. With love. With full presence.
When we align with the cosmic rhythms—of nature, God, Spirit—we stop pushing.
We begin flowing.
Honoring Those Who Mirror Us
Those who challenge us the most often hold the key to our healing.
They are not enemies.
They are mirrors. Reflections of what we still hold inside.
This is not easy work. But it is the work of remembering who we truly are.
Three Simple Questions to Begin Again
As you step into this cycle, ask yourself:
- What pattern is ready to be seen with compassion?
- What emotional bond are you ready to release?
- What new vision is asking to come through you?
You Are Right On Time
This is your moment.
Your time to walk forward with clarity, grace, and spiritual strength.
You are not behind.
You are exactly where you need to be.
With deep love and respect,
Amanda Flow
